I got a 42" plasma and need a cable hook up for my HIGH DEF CABLE BOX ---> Plamsa. Im going to best buy and circuit city today. Any reccommendations on a good cheap solution? Im not spending $100 on the HDMA Monster cable I saw the other day

Acoustic Research makes some good cables that aren't very expensive. I would definitely look online for HDMI or DVI cables, they're too expensive in the stores.

Two things. Monoprice.com is the cheapest and the best. Further, just call your cable company. We got free component AND HDMI Cables from Comcast.

Great place to get cabling. The really amazing thing (to me) is the pricing on their 24AWG digital cabling. Traditionally, 28AWG and 30AWG are used, and 24AWG was saved for really long runs (30' and longer) because of the high cost. At high bandwidth, long runs require these kind of thicker gauge wiring.

Monoprice has 24AWG HDMI/DVI cabling for as low as $14.99. It comes with a pair of big ferrite cores (to supress interference from other sources), and even decorative mesh around the cables. I wouldn't pay a lot of extra $$ for these sort of things, but at this price, it's a nice touch.
