I want a completely white portable device.

Must be linux compatible (anything but apple)

What's wrong with a Mac? It is Linux compatible.

Sony I think makes an all white one, as does.... MSI I think? Have you looked through Newegg's selection just to get an idea?

I want to dual boot win7 and ubuntu. Plus, apple just over charges and lacks features.

I'm sure that will go over great with the warranty.

You actually can triple boot with a MacBook if you boot Linux off a flash drive or external HDD.

If you install rEFIt you can triple boot a MacBook off the internal drive, I have done it.

He did say "all white"... which is why I said it wasn't gonna happen... His example states that the new white ASUS slate has black trim, so I'm assuming a black bottom is a no-no.

That is what it is. It's an enlarged iPhone without the phone. Oh... wait... It has a dual core A5 processor intead of the A4... That makes it TOTALLY different... lol.

Same iOS, no real OS' (like windows, OS X, or Linux), so that leaves dual booting Windows 7 and Linux out. It sounds to me, Mike, like you didn't read the OP all the way through, and you're trying to cover up your mistakes with insults...
