Alright, when I finally got to build my new computer, everything ended up working great until it got to my network connection. At first, I thought it was the fact that the driver for my Netgear WPN311 Wireless Card did not support all of the features on the card. From here, I reinstalled XP on my computer to try and get everything in order. The same problem kept occuring. My speed wasnt able to get to 108Mbps and the range was not extended. Although the signal strength was good (around 70%) nothing worked. After 5 minutes, I would loose connection. This all seemed to happen when I got a new Westell router when switching to Verison DSL. All other computers in my house are able to get a good connection (including the laptop my brother owns that has a worse built in card than mine). I dont really understand why the singnal keeps dropping and need an imediate solution. Please help :)

"the driver for my Netgear WPN311 Wireless Card did not support all of the features on the card"
-- if your using the right driver, made by the manufacturer, then it supports all the features of the card, ...what features werent working?

"My speed wasnt able to get to 108Mbps and the range was not extended"
-- Im pretty sure you need 'matched' components to reach the 108Mbps (ie Netgear 108Mbps capable router and card), does the Westell support 108Mbps?

Did you try changing any of the settings in the router for the wireless settings? you can possibly try other channels, signal boost, etc.
