No more super loud Intel cooler and dated Antec Fan on parents' comp:
Some Specs:

Pentium 4 Northwood 3.0GHz with HT
2GB Kingston RAM CL2.5
2*120GB WD1200 SATA HDDs
Intel D875PBZ mobo
Antec SX1040II case
Antec SmartPower 400W PSU

Before-2 Antec 80mm fans, Stock Intel HSF (this pic is actually after AC fans were installed)

After-AF8025 Front, ACF8 Rear, Freezer 4 HSF, FanMate II; also I fixed up the cabling a bit
http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/4628/dsc014549lg.jpg

Temps were around 54C idle before, now it idles @ 42C and Primes at 51C (with the Freezer spinning at a low 1400RPM)...dead silent too, except for a bit of PSU fan whine

So...3 random things I learned:

1)Intel stock cooler is a B!tch to take off
2)No need to run Prime to loosen up thermal grease, just run comp @ idle with HSF clamps off for a few mins :)
3)Fins on the AC Freezer 4 are SHARP

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions, and expecially to RallyMaster for the Live Phone Tech Support ;)

The Freezer looks sexy. Gotta get myself one of those...oh wait, already have one.

Now, MX-1 and AS5 trade?

I like how the Freezer is exhausting on to the video card :p or taking the hot air from the video card and using it as intake for the HS.

Well, there are only 2 ways to mount it, pointing up or down, and I chose down because it can get air blown back from the AF8025 (inside HDD cage) and the hot air pushed through the HSF will be sucked out by the ACF8/PSU fan.

The video card never runs hot b/c that comp sees ZERO gaming action

Well, parent' comp, they could really care less...and I did improve it a bit over what it was...I'll save my nonexistent uber-1337 cabling skills for my own build this summer ;)

if its for your parents i would think it was half complete :X I did a server for my dad and ended up even sleeving the stupid power rails, and even dropped a h2o cooling system for it. But having the wires organized vs rats nest can mean a temp difference of almost 10 degree's :X

Just to let you know, a overclocked P4D 805. Stock 2.66ghz was priming 16 hours stable at 3.4ghz with a max temp of 54C because of good wiring.

Before i got to it, it would idle at 48C and prime 1 hour stock 66C

Just sit down with some electrical tape, zip ties, look and examin and get at it. Shouldnt take more then 45 min if you know how to do it right.

Looks nice. Do those AC fans suck in any air from the sides of their cages? I might want to get one to replace the fan on my big typhoon if that's the case.
