Well, I'm helping my mom set up her new laptop. It comes with NIS 2009 (2008?) 60-day trial. After I do the first liveupdate, and reboot the machine, it tells me that the virus definitions are out of date (didn't I just do a liveupdate? 
), and then it pops up this window for "Norton Account".
Well, Norton software is WORSE than spyware, because they have disabled the normal OS functionality for their little program, so that you are FORCED into signing up and giving up your personal info to Norton. You can't close the window, and there's no "decline" button!
