Compiling Gaim in OS X...

Hey guys,

I'm trying to compile my favorite aim client, gaim, on my Mac Mini but am finding that ./configure tells me I don't have a compiler installed. I've got Xcode 2.1 installed and I thought that installed an accompanying compiler with it, but its not working for me. Any ideas about how I can get this to work? And assuming I get the compiler all set up, will it make an *.app file automatically or will there be some further steps needed after doing configure, make and make install?

Thanks

yea.. this doesn't belong in here. you'll have better luck in an apple forum. compiling gaim on mac requires more than just running "./configure".. you need an Xserver and a gtk port.
