compgeeks is not as honest as you think.

I've just received an order from these geeks with an Acer CD-ROM drive which of course did not work. Rather then send it back I took it apart and discovered there is a real scam going on these reconditioned parts. Although it had reconditioned labels on it which appeared to be factory this CD drive could never have possibly have been checked as the internal damage rendered it totally inoperative. This is the third time that they do this to me. send some dead junk component, sent some working component what game are they playing? as the buyer I am wasting alot of my time buying thing that don't work and is costing me more and only to get yet another garbage from them. the process which takes me nearly 6 works just to do an RMA. compgeeks I have to say goodbye for now for good, you just lost a very valueble customer who shop there at least once a week.

Your blaming CG for a faulty refurb job? Think about that, as it makes no sense.

I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of components from CGs and had only one issue. I ordered a Abit BH6 and they sent me a flakey BX6. I'm in the process of the RMA. However I think it was a fluke and will not hold this against them.
