my dealings w/ compgeeks has be leaning towards the negative side. Remember the USB hubs? Well, a lot of us go the wrong AC adapter. It wasn't too much of a problem, they paid for shipping back and forth. Next, bought a Geforce2 GTS, seemed like a good price... but i didn't get it for about 2 weeks (and paid for ups 3 day). No email or nothing, email after email, then i just called and finally was told they were outta stock.

Really pissed me off cause i bought it for a friend, and i don't like not keeping my end of a bargain because a company didn't let me know it was outta stock.

They sent me a toolkit as a "sorry" gift... it arrived at my dorm after i got kicked out, so i won't get it till the end of the month.

shishya Why shouldn't someone express their opinion?

They should, but I wasn't reffering to the compgeeks bashing. I was reffering to the bashing of rub4luv who started the thread, and who was accused of advertising for compgeeks, when there is zero proof of that. Please re-read the thread, and then what I wrote, and you will see what I mean.

I quote Bangsailio: "DUde. that guy is advertising. those prices arent that great. looks more like a price listing than a posting."

And jumblies "For the love of god, please lock this advertisement!"

I don't see where in my post I had a problem with comp-bashing, and where you got that idea???

I was simply sticking up for rub4luv, who was being accused of advertising for compgeeks, is all.

I hope you see where I was coming from now. :)
