Compatiblity between Asus A7N8X Deluxe & Abit Serillel 0 adapters?

Hello, I've recently purchased 2 Abit serillel 0s off the FS/T forum. I have the A7N8X Deluxe vers2.0 motherboard. ran it with maxtor hds, but it didn't recognized any HDs when its connected to it? just wondering if anybody has the same setup and are able to get it to work, thanks.

MB is with the latest 1007 bios.
