I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1280, and do enough printing where the cost of ink is a serious consideration.

In searching for better deals online, I stumbled upon the website 2SAVEONINKJET.COM.

Was wondering if anyone has used their ink cartridges, or other compatible ink cartridges, and have any comments as to whether or not it is worth the cost savings. I can essentially get 5 ink cartridges, black or color, for the price of one Epson cartridge.

I have heard various things about compatible ink cartridges...that they cause clogging or other issues that reduce the life of printers...or that the color quality is not worth the cost savings.

Thoughts?
 
There is a whole bunch of them ABCINK, 123INK, etc.

Try FROOGLE and PRICEGRABBER and see if you can get some prices from that.

As for the cartridges I have had good luck with after market ones but dont recall where I got them from.

Must have been pretty good cosidering HP and them filed suits against cartridge clone makers.

You can also try google with the name of the ink company and add words like sucks and problems and see what user comments you can find. There is always someone who didnt like someone so take it with a grain of salt.

If you do have good/bad experience with whomever you go with please post it back here Im sure others would like to know.
 
I was hoping to tap into other forums, as I am sure there are any number of consumer forums out there where someone has posted something about these companies, good or bad.

The searches I tried on Google didnt bring up much information, good or bad. Hence my posting here, as I assumed someone in here has ordered compatible ink cartridges from somewhere.

I may wait for a few more responses before ordering, but if I do, I will be sure to post comments as a follow-up.
 
The batch of ink tanks I bought a few weeks ago from swiftink.com are great for my Canon. They aren't as cheap as some of the bottom-feeders but the output quality is excellent.
