I need to replace the hard drive in an older laptop (about 3 years old). I have the old hard drive's part number- Toshiba HDD2194.

Interface: ATA-2,3,4,5,6 interface (from Toshiba PDF file)
2.5"

I'm wondering if this drive from Newegg is compatible:

Interface is "ATA-6"

The laptop is an OEM Compal CL56 (used by many makers a few years ago), that was sold from mwave.com

What do you think? Thanks!

Any of the ATA-6 drives will work fine in your laptop. Just fine the best GB/$ drive with good reviews and you're gtg.
