which othe cpu,s can be installed in slot 1 100 MHZ FSB boards instead of putting the Intel Piii 500 MHZ Slot 1 in the slot. And how

Without knowing what motherboard you have, I would say the Katmai Pentium III 600 with 512KB L2 cache.

If I knew what motherboard model you had, I would be able to give you a more definite and probably better answer.

Nos440 claimed that with a slot1 to 370 adapter card you could stick the fcpga cards up to a p# 1ghz into it (but not the newer .13 micron chips.) I have an asus p3bf which i want to upgrade, but I haven't been able to find any information that supports this (asus claims to support upto a p3600) I know the voltage requirements are lower for the fcpga chips, so the board might not be able to do it...

Anyone else know of this?

hafen: if you have PCB rev 1.03 of the P3B-F, your motherboard is able to support processors up to 1.1GHz.

Just make sure that you have the latest BIOS installed, version 1008 Beta 002. This BIOS has full support for the cC0 and cD0 stepping processors.
