ok, i just tried to install a gainward ti4600 on an epox 8k7a+ mobo
and i get some rather nasty (long) beeps and the beginning and then
no post. anybody heard of a problem between these two? i've tried
reseating the card a dozen times. i even went so far as to buy a new
case and supply (the original seemed to be suffering when i installed
the vid card) so power isn't a problem (antec 430 TruePower).
i like the mobo in spite of other issues (i wouldn't recommend the 761
and 686B combo to ANYONE, however) as it does seem otherwise stable.
if that's the problem, what the heck, off to newegg for another mobo.
any ideas?
