Compatibility question - Can I use these?

I have a Toshiba A135-S2246.

According to Crucial's memory finder thing, I need these:
200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-4200 memory module

Can I use these instead:
200-pin PC2-5400 / DDR2 SODIMM

My PC will jsut run them at the slower speed but they will still work right?

Can't beat 2 gigs for $25...

It might... but it might not work.

I personally had problems running PC2 5300 memory at PC2 4200 speed.

Especially with the laptop, and the OEM un-adjustable BIOS', I would recommend the proper memory speed.

$20 - $30 more might be worth the peace of mind...

Yeah I know. I can find it for around $40 or so but $25 it obviously cheaper so... I guess we'll see what happens.
