Compatibility Pack for Office 2007? (Solved)

Hi.

I recently upgraded to Office 2010 from Office 2007 after having learned the latter was unsafe.

I just noticed I have Compatibility Pack for Office 2007. Is true, some of my WORD docs were written way back in Office 2003.

But, now that I have Office 2010, do I need this? Is there any reason I should not uninstall it?

Thank you.

I doubt it's doing anything. Office 2013, but its lonesome, with no add-ons, I know, by having done it, will open and convert Excel and Access files from Office 97. Can't say for Word docs, but I would expect only minor formatting errors across versions.

So cute! That it might be LONELY with no add ons!

But, given what you shared, I am going to uninstall that compatibility thing immediately.....see if anything collapses/bursts into tears....and, if Word 2010 is lonely without it.....I will get it a kitten.:whiste:

Thank U!!!!!!
