Question Compatibility between G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3200C14 RGB version and Corsair RGB mouse pad

Last year I read some postings on the internet about issues with the Trident Z RGB RAM. For example:

Have they been fully resolved? I think it had something to do with people installing some kind of control software and had the memory module corrupted and bricked.

I just bought a Corsair MM800 RGB Polaris Gaming Mouse Pad. Because of some issues mentioned above, I am concerned if I will have problem using the mouse pad with the F4-3200C14Q-64GTZR and have RGB lightings on both components at the same time. What suggestion do you have? For example, which rgb control software should I use and which I should avoid, etc.
