Compatability issues

I am looking at purchasing a Leadtek 6600gt in the AGP flavor. I was wondering if there was any hardware compatability issues I should consider. Here are the specs for my system as best I can tell:

AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2500+
DFI NFII 400-AL mobo
Antec Smartpower 350W ps

I noticed that I only have agp x4 listed as the highest agp setting. Is this going to pose a problem for the 6600gt? Any help would be appreciated.

Actually I was having the similar question (AGP 6600GT with different system config) ... I have actually come across some newsgroups posting that says the 6600GT are not compatible with certain motherboards (one board specifically is the Asus A7M266-D) ... on the good news though ... it seems that several other people says they managed to get the card working fine with AGP 4X only.

My suggestion (from what other poeple suggested) is that if you do get the 6600GT make sure you can take it back in case it's not compatible ... other people says that the 6800 is a good (and sure) alternative, if money is no concern ...
