Has anyone personally tested both of these heatsinks (or the CNPS7000 equivalent) personally and compared the results?

This is just out of curiousity as I've seen tests comparing the two.. but I'd like to hear if anyone has actually done this themselves (those who have the time and money that is ;))

I've used the 7000A-Cu on my 8RDA+ machine inside an SLK3700AMB case and it works excellently.

Well to add to my own post, I just replaced the Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu with the CNPS7000A-AlCu and noticed an approximate 2-3c rise in temps.. from 44c to 47c (this is full load). Not bad. ;)

They tested both of these over at SilentPCreview.com and found a negligible difference between the two.

Your temps on the AlCu will probably drop over the next couple of days (as your thermal compound cures) and be the same as they were with the Cu.
