Comparing Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2000 Advanced Server

Why is it that advanced server seems to be cheaper on ebay and other places?
Don't you have the same thing in advances as regular server plus?
i know you get clustering, network load balancing and a few other things in advanced but it just seems like people are willing to give up advanced much easier/cheaper

curious.....

Would you really trust a copy of Windows AS from eBay to be authentic?

AS is only legal and supported on certain hardware, i.e. you can't buy it without a huge server and support contract.

Er, yea I was thinking of Datacenter Server.

Either way, I doubt I would trust a cheap version of AS from eBay to be legal.

From my understanding, Advanced Server has support for >4 processors on one machine. That is the only difference if my info is correct.

This would be my main concern.

It also supports Windows Load Balancing Service - I've used it before hardware load balancers were available to load balance traffic to 4 webservers.
