I installed the trial of Ulead video studio 5. The trial itself has lots of restrictions in functionality, but in addition it has only a 30 days period
to use it. I had a testing project that I never completed, and I forgot about the time restriction. Now that I want to finish the testting project,
the software says that trial has expired.
I unistalled the software and reinstalled it again, but the software keeps saying the trial period has expired. I guess it stores something in
the registry that let the software know the trial period has expired.
I have a backup copy of the registry when I still had 2 days left, and I have also a backup copy of the registry after the trial has expired. I
haven't installed anything new, so I think if I can compare both registry copies I could find the killer key.
The question here is how do I compare these 2 copies?? They are cab files containing win.ini, sys.ini and some .dat files. I guess the .dat
files contain those key. How do I open a stored registry and compare it to another stored registry???
Thanks
