Comparing Enhance with Enermax P/S's

Just plugged in my ENHANCE ENP-0735 P4 350 WATT p/s from newegg to replace the ENERMAX EG465P-VE 431W unit. I have an Epox 8K7A M/B w/ the infamous low 5v problem. Because of raising both my Vcore and memory voltages for O/C'ing purposes (Tbird 1.2 oc'ed to 1.5) the enermax 5v readout on MBM was 4.78-4.81v at idle and 4.63v w/ load = CpuBurn. The Enhance is giving me about a 0.1-.15v boost, 4.91v idle and 4.78v at load. Haven't tried to see if I can o/c more w/ this p/s yet, but w/ this boost and the memory stabilty I just got from flashing my 8K7A bios to 12.10, I'm going to try. Also I don't know if the Enhance has adjustable POTS ( the Enermax doesn't), so I might be able to jack up the 5v line more. I'll keep you posted. 😎

I can't comment on the Enermax but I have an Enhance 0735 and it was like sitting next to a vacuum cleaner. I swapped the Adda fan that comes with it for a Panflo and it is much quieter, still runs cool as well.

I think the Enhance is a little louder maybe, but the Enermax is not particularly quiet. The fan exchange sounds like a good idea.
