comparing a pair of speakers to headphones

I know I'm comparing something I shouldn't be, but I was wondering anyway:

I have pair of Klipsch iFis. I love them, they are great, and they were just the right price. If I wanted to get headphones that produced sounds of the same caliber, where should I look first? I'm basically looking to spend no more than 200 on such headphones. Thanks in advance.

Assuming that you are going to run them unamped (from your sound card, I assume), your best bet would be the Audio-Technica ATH-A900. They are probably the easiest to drive out of the headphones in your price range. I haven't personally heard them, but they get great reviews over on the Head-Fi forums. BTW, if you decide to check out Head-Fi, be careful. I first went there less than a year ago by chance, and have already spent about a grand on headphones, amps and accessories. There's a reason that their motto is "Sorry about your wallet" ;).

I have the A900's and they are excellent value, however if you were looking to spend less the A500s and A700s are still very good (on audio cubes as well)

If you are looking for open headphones you could try the AD900 or AD700
