Could anyone help us determine the size differentials between our square CRT television that's about 32'' (diagonal), and a new 46'' 16:9 television?

We have looked at places like Best Buy, but the problem is that in a large Warehouse, everything looks so small - but when its actually in the house, it seems like it would be much larger. We'd like to see a size difference so we could compare the two. The new LCD is obviously slimmer and will end up being 3+ feet further back and thus create a smaller perspective.

We're talking strictly screen size here and not the actual dimensions of the television. Is there anyway we could get a side by side comparison between the two televisions? Could anyone tell us the L & W of the LCD 16:9 thats 46'' diagonally Vs. our current television with the dimensions we can easily figure out.

Thanks for any info.

The tvcalculator is cool. I have wondered what the size diff was from my 27 inch tube to my 46. The vertical diff is bigger than what I thought.
