Comparing 24" - 30" LCDs

So I'm in the market for a set of 24" or 30" LCDs.

I have my eye on the 2408 (seems to have bad reviews mainly about viewing angles and lag), and the 24" NEC and the 26" NEC as well as the HP with the H-IPS panel.

If any of you have the 2408 monitor can you tell me how the viewing angles are and if there is a color shift when viewing it head on or slightly to the left or right?

I read over at HardOCP and find that there are complaints for pretty much all monitors.

If anyone can chime in I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have a revision 0 WFP2408, and I'm pretty happy with it. I've notice no lag. However, I haven't done much gaming with it since I got it, just a game of Civ4 Colonization every now & then.

Viewing angles are good, but I do notice a slight shift when I move over to the right. I also have 1 stuck pixel, that I notice sometimes.

When I was shopping, I was torn between the 2408, and the Samsung 245T. I didn't consider the 24" NEC, because it cost so much more.
