Looking for a new 17 inch laptop. My old Sager is about 12 lbs and would like a lighter unit. Build on XoticPC. But shopping arround at other sites.

( I realize that this is what Dannyboo is looking at as well.
I dont know if mods can merge this to Dannyboo's thread)

the main difference seems to be in the display and warranty?
if you don't care for 3d gaming the ASUS might be better since if you're bringing this to college, or an environment where it is likely to be jostled/damaged the ASUS accidental warranty would be valuable.
do the 3d glasses work on the 560? that description says it only works on the 485 :S
