Looking forward to any input anyone might have on this.:p

Got a older 2006 era compaq presario that currently houses a ecs 945g mobo and a pentium d 820,looking to swap in a newer micro motherboard with a e8200 for a friend and the front panel headers on this case look like they should work...

the pin layout on these micro atx 775 motherboards for the most part are identical usually right?

Everything is already in place in the build, just wanna swap out the motherboards and at first glance the pin layout on both boards look identical, just not sure if some brands switched location of the power or the power led for example in the layout or is it pretty much industry standard?

There is no standard layout. You are going to have to either look at the labels on the motherboard, or read the manual that comes with your motherboard.
