Compaq Smart Array 3200 RAID Controller + Linux?

Does anyone know if there are any drivers available for the Compaq Smart Array 3200 RAID controller for Mandrake 7.2? I have looked an cannot find drivers from either Compaq or Mandrake for it. Does anyone know where I can find them? I don't want to use Red Hat either if I don't have to.

Compaq has drivers on their site as well, however I thought this stuff was in the normal kernel source tree now and that you didn't have to patch.
