I have a Compaq Proliant 6400R that I'm planning on selling, but I want to get an idea of whether it's up to snuff or not. In my attempt to access the array manager in the utility partition, it prompts me for the "array configuration diskette."

I've looked for this disk on HP/Compaq's site with no luck. I did manage to find out that the Smart Start 5.50 cd will allow me to make disks and boot the machine to perform various tasks. Unfortunately, HP CHARGES for this cd! You can freely download images of the newer releases, but they want over $20 for the old version!

Does anyone have the SmartStart 5.50 cd or the floppy in question? I have a feeling this is a long shot, but I'd rather not cave in to HP's evil money-sucking scheme.

Wow, I made it all the way down to page 3 with only THREE views (I think 2 of those were mine). I have a feeling this is a lost cause. Don't let HP win!
