I've got a compaq presario 1510t laptop, that my sister gave to me when she broke it,
or though it was broken.
When you turn it on you can hear it start but nothing comes up on the screen. If you take the battery out then it works some times and goes onto the windows screen and then once its onthe desktop, about10 mins it freezes. So i decided to reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows. So while reinstalling i got and error and i told the installer to skip over it , everything installs as it should then i go to log is and it gives me an error that says someting along the lines of " cant read windows license."
So i try to reformat again, and i get an error every few secounds and then it locked up at 5%, so iturned it off then tried to get the reformat to work again, and it said i'm missing a file or something is not found? Mean while sometimes when I turn it on it says compaq and does nothing. Also i need to take the battery out sometimes and then put it back in or justt turns black like it did at the beginning of this.
Now finally when iturn it on it sounds like its doing something but nothing shows up on the screen. Its really buggin me, and it would help me alot of you guys cou some how help me thank you. you guys have any advice for me ? thanks, i really want to save this computer.
