Compaq printer cant print asian font?

I just got this printer from friend.
Its compaq IJ1400P
But it seems this printer cant print korean font.
I installed asian font and all nessesary stuffs. I can type and see korean but cant print out. I get font that looks like chinese and few square boxes in print out.
Is this normal for compaq printer?

Start -> Printer and Faxes

Right click the printer, select properties.

In the general tab, select Printing Preferences, CLick the advanced tab. Look for an option called True Type Font, select Download as Softfont.

This may not be 100% accurate but its the only solution that comes to my mind atm.

i connected with notebook and it printed fine but why is my computer not able to print korean?

Try setting the print driver to print in graphics mode.
