Need some ideas because I'm not sure where to go from here. I have a Compaq Presario V4000T that when plugged in, won't charge the batt. It did boot up when the batt had a charge so I know it works otherwise.
Things I've tried:
-Bought a new ac adaptor from hp, this did not work.
-Disassembled the laptop to see if the power connection point was loose. However it was still firmly soldered on the board.
-Attempted to "straighten" the pin inside the connector.
I figured it was the adaptor for sure but buying a new one did not solve the issue. Anyone have any ideas?
