Compaq Presario 2100 modem driver

I picked one of these up last week and like it except for WinXP. Tried to load W2K on it and got all the drivers working except the modem, which I unfortunately need. I tried every driver source I could find, any suggestions? It is listed as a Conexant Soft56k.
 
I have an HP ze4200 series notebook which is the same as the Compaq 2100 series and mine is listed in WinXP as Conexant 56K AC-Link Modem. I'm sure you've probably done this, but if not here you go. Good luck!
 
have you gone to the compaq website and downloaded the drivers from it?


I got a compaq 2800 conextant HSfi v92 minipci and got the drivers from compaq site...
