Compaq Presario 1900 Series CPU Upgradeable??

Model 1925, currently 400MHz Celeron... Anyone know if the CPU can be upgraded? And if so, to what?

The processor looks to be very easy to remove... Would that help me to find out if it can take a faster CPU?

download sissoft Sandra it will tell you what the motherboard supports as far cpu's
hey if you can get it out and put it back together then do it.

Thanks for the info. I will see what SiSoft Sandra shows. Compaq's official word on the upgradeability of the CPU is that the max supported is a PII 333. But, I still think there's a chance it might be able to go higher..
