Compaq presario 1277 laptop drivers

OK i've found sound and video drivers for win xp, but both of those already work.

The thing that i don't have is the touchpad drivers, for winXP. And also the drivers for the extra buttons (internet, mail, etc) and extra touch pad options (double touching the pad = double click, etc)

so far i've checked all the easy to find driver web pages, compaq's site has nothing for the computer, soo if any of yall can help me out i would be very glad.

PS. if any of you can find linux drivers that would work for redhat 9.0 i might end up using that. so LMK

You should have the synaptic touch pad drivers SP20456 Compaq Notebooks Synaptics Touchpad Driver for Windows XP Home Ver 570 A (04/04/2002) on your recovery CD.

Uh, i don't have a recovery cd for win xp, just win 98, but i will look for them on the interne
