Compaq presario 1200 has no video with screen or monitor. I don't think it goes thru POST. With a stethoscope I can hear the hard drive spin up then it sounds like it spins down. I don't hear memory test. Fan stays on, but that's it. Could be the video card or hopefully a loose connection, if it's not onboard video. Anybody know how to pop the top on this thing? It doesn't look like the keyboard just lifts out. There are screws on the bottom, but I'm afraid to just start taking out screws. I can't find a manual at compaq support like I did for mine. This belongs to a missionary couple from Albania that is headed back there next week and we need to get this fixed before they go back. This is their only link with the states.
