my compaq ipaq 3635 pocket pc can see the wireless lan card and it sees the link to the wireless access point with a good connection. However it won't connect to the internet through the wireless card. It does connect when it is in the cradle. I have the Compaq wireless pc card driver installed in the ipaq and configured for the SSID and passphrase. What else do I need to do? Thanks in advance.

You have to go to Start > setting > System > find the Icon of the Wireless Card > click on it. Check the Menu Tabs and make sure that DHCP is on, and that the iPaq picket IP.

Make sure that the Wireless DHCP is checked on the A/P. If you don?t like to use DHCP you have to assign IP numbers in both the A/P and iPaq.
When all done do a soft reset to the iPaq.

Good Luck.

Man...nothing I love more than browsing the 'Net on my iPAQ 3670 from the comfort of my easy chair down in the den on the 1st floor of my house, while all my gear (including the AP) is up on the 3rd floor.

Sweeeeet!

I have tried everything I know of to get mu D-link pc card to work, and I can't seem to get an internet connection though I have a good connection. I will leave it in the laptop, and I will try out the Symbol card. Hopefully it will get to the net so I can surf upstairs!
