hi, i was wondering about the batterly level for the ipaq.
does it consume less power without the expansion sleeve plus the compact flash memory
or it is the consume the same batterly power?
i just wondering, i dont' need the extra memory of mp3 sound with me when i'm out, i only need it when i'm travel for long time in the car

The cf sleeve with memory in it does consume power; the pc card sleeve has its own battery back so running it with a cf memory card will not draw power from the ipaq itself.

so my batterly will last longer if i leave my cf expansion and the cf memory at my bag?
when i need them, i'll just connect them.(usually i only have mp3 in the cf memory card)
this way, my batterly will be longer then i have my cf expansion sleeve on all the time right?
approx how much more min of batterly do i save with cf expansion sleeve off/

Yes, That is correct. There is a Sleeve though that has a second battery in it that also accepts your CF cards but the main disadvantage is it's a lot thicker. Since the Ipaq with even the normal sleeve is pretty think as it is, any more thickness bothers me. My friend has one though and he gets a LOT of battery life even with the CF card installed but it's so dang thick! What really seems to drag down the battery a lot is a CF NIC that I have. I put that in when at a friends place to check my email and do a little surfing and the battery goes down real fast. Since you don't need the MP3's with you all the time I would say leave it in your bag and get more battery life.

That's not entirely accurate...although the PC card sleeve has a battery built-in, it is not smart enough to only provide power for the PC cards, it just acts as an additional battery for the iPAQ, and power is used from both. So in other words, it won't first drain the iPAQ battery then the sleeve battery, they both are being used. However, the additional battery does give you more time.

i only have the cf expansion sleeve
so there is no place to add the batterly
so i will leave it in my bag and only use it when i need it
an other question
how many of you guy use screen protector?
and do you find it useful?
why does it need to be change every 30day?
