My Compaq is an Armada 1700 Family 6300/T/5000/D/M/1 laptop computer.
Whenever I'm in Word 2000, my I-beam cursor is constantly moving on me. For example, I would be typing on line 10 and it'll jump to line 3 and then a few seconds later, it'll jump to another line. I don't know what is wrong with it. I downloaded an Erratic mouse driver from Compaq.com, but that didn't resolve the problem. I think it could be the touch pad?? But in a way I'm hoping it's not... I'd rather have it be the software... please help me with this dilema.
