Have some games for my daughter to use which run in 640x480 fullscreen mode, when the game kicks in the screen shrinks down to an appropriately sized 640x480 window w/ a blackborder. I know some laptops have auto-screenstrech and I can't seem to find the option on this one. I have to update the bios yet... but if anyone knows for sure how to do it, I'd appreciate it.
It seems like the laptop is capable of it because I installed a utility from compaq called setvid and if I set the desktop to 640x480 it will fill the whole screen. It just doesn't auto switch if I am running in 1024x768 and run a fullscreen game at a lower res.
