Hey all.
I REALLY need your help. I have a Compaq Armada 1750 (old 366Mhz)that I've bought (used) not long ago. I've loaded Windows XP Pro on it and it's been working fine. Yesterday, I hit shutdown and closed the laptop before a full shutdown. Today I get to work, turn on the computer and to my surprise it doesn't work!! It gives me the 'Compaq' splash screen then the screen goes black!! No cursor, no boot sequence, NADA!!
* I've tried to get into the Bios with no luck (Used the f10 key while splash screen up).
** Tried booting from Win XP disk -no luck
*** Tried booting from Win 98 Start disk -no luck!!
