Compaq 2500 has a '15.0" TFT WVA UXGA (1920x1200)' Display option??

So I've got a laptop with a 15.4" WUXGA display (1920x1200) and it looks great... recently I was looking around at the current crop of products from HP and Compaq and noticed that this laptop has an option for a 1920x1200 display on only a 15" screen. How is this possible?? Does it look totally weird? Any experiences with this?
