Company Xmas Party

So I am going to my company's xmas dinner/dance; I am expected to go as I am in management and have to represent the company and whatnot. The event is in a somewhat classy restaurant in town and will have other people from other companies there.

My options are:
Pinstripe blazer, dress shirt no tie, formal jeans and casual/dress shoes
Dress shirt under italian wool sweater, dress pants and shoes
Dress shirt no tie, no blazer, dress pants and shoes
Dress shirt with tie, no blazer, dress pants and shoes
Suit with blazer, dress shirt no tie, dress pants and shoes
Suit with blazer, dress shirt with tie, dress pants and shoes

There is no dress code on the ticket, just:
Cocktails at 6:00pm
Dinner at 7:00pm
Dancing till 1:00am
Plate Service and Hot Buffet
Style Dinner

Thoughts?
Thanks!

Whatever you do, don't show off your income! I think a sweatsuit is appropriate.

What a first post!

Well, everyone in your town is poor so just wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt. You'll fit in fine.

Edit: Seriously, I voted for dress shirt + sweater.

I definitely see a productive neffing future here.

I'd wear a suit jacket, button down shirt, dress pants, and dress shoes.

Other pointers (from me making an ass out of myself in the past):
1. Eat something before you go! Even if there's food, you don't want to be the guy grabbing lots of snackies.. Also gotta line the stomach for the drinkies

2. Do not, i stress, DO NOT have more than 2 or 3 drinks.

3. Don't get too comfortable.. i ended up flirting with a co-worker.. Bad, bad, bad fall out after i did that

What kind of company do you work for? The Christmas party dress code for a Wall Street investment firm obviously isn't going to be the came as a Silicon Valley startup.

Wear your $4000 suit. Just don't hold the elevator for the guy who doesn't make that much in 3 months. I mean, COME ON!!!

hahaha... Like the guy in the $7000 suit is going to listen to you. I mean, COME ON!
