Just got a couple of firewire cards from Computers123...They were shipped to me USPS "media rate", which is illegal (only videos, music, books qualify for media rate). This wasn't an isolated mistake...Lots of people report the same thing from Computers123...
This pisses me off on several levels, not least of which is that Computers123 takes no responsibility for their shipments unless you purchase insurance at extra cost. So if the USPS were to actually intercept a fraudulent "media rate" package, *I* would be out of luck as the recipient. It also pisses me off because it'll ultimately lead to higher media rate costs...
My question is: Is there anyone at the USPS I can complain to to dime these guys out? I purposely didn't even open the package they sent, thinking I could show it to someone and demonstrate what they're pulling...It's got a computer printed label/barcode/postage, so it's traceable.
Probably a waste of my time...I doubt I could find anyone who could give a darn...But figured I'd ask just in case there's a current/former USPS employee here who knows something about it...
