Company sponsored trip to Vegas!

My supervisor just dropped in, and threw and email on my desk asking me if I would be willing to go to Las Vegas for a 3 day trip at the end of November. Now this might not sound great to some of you, but that would get me temporarily away from the cold (and lack of golf) and down to a place I've never been.

User conference for some software we're implementing, and I'm second in command. The lead person is away on holidays (so sad 🙁) so I'm being tagged to go. Monday, Tuesday Wednesday as a part of the conference, and Thursday through Sunday for debauchery & golf! My clubs may have some life in them yet 🙂

Anyone with good recent Vegas experiences?

well, you know i just went back in July. had a great time! if i could go back, i'd leave the wife @ home and go with friends. AHAHAH not. it would be nice to go there some other time with a few buddies. do you know where you get to stay?

Not yet ... and since my wife is teaching yoga those days, she can't make it! This is good and bad, since we both wanted to go. She'll maybe come after the conference, but I have a couple of buddies who have already expressed an interest as well 😛

I'm as excited about the golfing potential as anything else. I think I need to seek help 🙂
 
vegas is great! i met up with eaglekeeper, so, hevensnt and others a few months ago

lost a bunch of money at poker, but won it all back at roulette... stupid, eh!
 
no way dude, you're 100% healthy! the first thing any sane Canadian thinks about when visiting tropical climes is GOLF! 😀
