Company of Heroes: Unit Limit

I realize your population limit is capped by the number of control points you have, but it seems uncomfortably low for me.

Is there any way to increase this ratio, through some ini maybe?

I think they designed it this way so the game's emphasis is on tactics rather than zerging.
