I have installed Company of Heroes and Opposing Fronts today on my newest install of XP x64. I was able to use all 4 sides in a skirmish game so I know both games are working correctly. However, every time I start the game I am asked to validate the media, as in I need to let them scan the dvd every time I fire up the game.
I am also NEVER given the chance to log into Relic Online and the stupid game uses my pc name from Control Panel so there is no chance of logging in. So I have uninstalled the lot of them and this time around I installed Opposing Fronts first in the hopes of patching up fully and then validating the key for the original COH. No dice, it does the same "insert the dvd" bullcrap and I still can't log into Relic Online.
Can anyone help me who has struggled through this hellish install successfully? Thanks.
