Hello all,

If you are not a company, you can still help out the team by donating to us through paypal on our website. All donations will be benefit the teams trip to San Diego. Thank you.

My team is looking for a company or companies to sponsor our major trip coming up in August of 2005. We are a soccer team, located in Connecticut and we are flying to San Diego, California. We are in desperate need of sponsorship to the tournament, even if it means the company pays for atleast half of our trip. *Sorry but we do not need free website hosting, I have had several people contacting me offering it*

In return for sponsorship, the company will get:

-Company logo on our uniforms, training gear, bags, as well as bumper stickers, magnets, or soccer balls.

-Company logo on team banner that will be displayed behind team bench at all games.

-Company logo on team website- website recieves between 15,000-20,000 hits a month.

-Anything else you need your logo to be displayed on or anything else you require

The tournament we are attending is one of the biggest tournaments in the United States, bringing in over 94,000 people last year. I have complete stats on the tournament and details that I will send you if you are interested.

San Diego Surf Cup August 6th, 7th and 8th, 2005; However almost everyone arrives August 3rd or 4th.

Rated among the top three tournaments in the US.

Last year over 332 teams participated, about 6,000 players.

Over 300 college coaches attend the event

2002 attendance at San Diego Surf Cup: 94,000-over 5 day period
2001 attendance at San Diego Surf Cup: 92,000-over 5 day period.

Why don't you have your coach or a parent write your want ads for you. It would seem more professional. Also, a Top 20 team and nobody in your local town, city, county, or state wants to sponsor you? If someone from another state sponsors you, they'd have to be a huge company, a corporation. I don't know of any local companies that will sponsor a team from across the nation. What benefit would Jerry's Donuts of Colorado Springs get from the advertising on your team jersies, at a game in San Diego, CA?

No one from the state will sponsor us. We've gotten small $25-$50 donations, nothing big though. We've contacted major major businesses, banks, phone companies, food companies, and no one is interested. Also, the advertising would not just be in San Diego, but from then on out, on all our gear, so every tournament we go to everyone will see the logo.

Also, have you talked to the airlines about sponsership in return for free airfare maybe they can do something for you....

We've talked to a few airlines and they have not been interested because we did not approach them sooner; meaning they would need more time to do this.
