Company app just stopped working

So, my company has this homegrown app that I host from our FTP site. Its been working for months. Now the app stopped working. My question is this.

Even tho the app is stand alone does it somehow talk to apple? Usually we have to settings, general and allow the app to be trusted but now the app just opens and shuts down instantly and the profile trust thing is gone.

Is it an enterprise app? It stopped working on everyone's phone or it's just new people who can't download it? The encryption keys might have expired. Just deploy a new build.
