You mean like those companies that advertise discounts every day when in reality they are either the same price or jacked up with a discount on top? Like Guitar Center/Musicians Friend? Omaha Steak....etc?

There we go.

Ya, I wasn't referring to all products, just those where coupons are the norm, mostly fast food. Some do what you mention, fewer than I'd expect.

And, uh... groceries?

The more competition, the more coupons and other incentives you see to entice shoppers. It's not hard to understand. Get new customers, get old ones back, retain current ones. Just get people in the door. Doesn't mean that every fast food or grocery purchase is done with a discount. Far from it.

Dumbest thread ever

Come on son. Have you not seen Craig234's thread on losing his keys?

I learned years ago not to argue with him. It's pointless. He literally started a thread about how Little Caesar's doesn't use coupons by citing as his example the time he used a coupon with them. He guy is not exactly working with a full deck.

BTW, this dance expresses how I feel about Little Caesar's crazy bread:

and yet you made a thread belly aching about coupons for fast food...

lol

Glass half full much? I find it interesting that some people can't help but view any comment made as a complaint. It was just an observation about how some companies are constantly throwing out coupons for their goods or services, while others never do.

In-N-Out is in that enviable place right now where they're not a national chain and haven't become commonplace. There's still a little mystique about them, where the name itself holds some value, but that won't last long. You're in Colorado, aren't you? Recently it was announced In-N-Out was coming to Colorado and by the reactions of some people, you'd think Jesus Christ himself was coming back for a visit.

He was an Apple VP. Does Apple offer discounts?

1. Apple will have a back to school sale/promotion limited to students/teachers sometime in the late summer.

2. On Black Friday they'll have some sort of wholly unimpressive sale or discount.

He was an Apple VP. Does Apple offer discounts? I don't think they do which is where he got the idea. Only retailers give discounts on Apple products and usually not very often.
I SMH whenever I see an Apple product deal posted on slickdeals, $7000 after 100$ off.
I thought buying Apple products was to show off how much you LOVE their CEO and support the company by paying full price.

Someone get him a coupon for a housecleaning service that does bathrooms. While you're at it, get me one too...

"Mr. Craig, what do you want me to do with all of these boxes and junk in the bathroom?"

"Don't touch any of those! I know exactly where everything is. Well, everything except my keys."
