Hi all.

I'm new here and like others my GT8600 from my Compal IFL90 stopped working..

Already baked it but thats only a temporary solution so I'm thinking on buying a HD3650 256mb ddr3 mxm II for it.

Do you guys know where I can buy one that will work with this laptop?

THere are several in ebay but most of them say for ACER and are preoloaded with ACER vbios.. does this represent an issue, or I'll be able to make it to work by changing its vbios?

I know that the heatsink needs changes but regarding the bios and or vbios, will there be any issue or I can buy any HD3650 MXM II that will certainly work with the COmpal?

From what ive read it is with nvidia gpu's..

Anyone with a personal experience that can help me here?
